Biography:

 

Lovie-Afi Greene is a rising Junior studying to become an Intervention Specialist at Central State University. She is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society. Lovie-Afi is an honors student pursuing major and international honors of distinction.  While at school, she participates in the NAMI on Campus and the First Year Advocate program. She is a leader in her community and hopes to use education to change the future. 


As a member of Kappa Omicron Tau, a teacher preparation program associated with the National Association of Phi Delta Kappa Inc., Lovie-Afi uses her teaching skills to impact her community. She is also a member of the National Association of Black Storytellers, a UNCF Fellow, and recipient of many community scholarships. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Education she plans to study Applied Behavior Analysis through a graduate program. Lovie-Afi Greene exemplifies resiliency and is a strong advocate for her community, historically black institutions, and retention in higher education.
